We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG 2021). This policy describes which data arise when you visit this website and what we use them for.
The essentials in brief
- This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services.
- Fonts, scripts, images and videos are stored on our own web space. No fonts or scripts are loaded from third parties.
- Data from third parties are loaded in only two places: the webcam image and, only after your click, the 3D tour of the apartment.
- We collect personal data only when you send us a request.
Hosting and server logs
Our website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. The provider processes the data on our behalf.
Each time a page is requested, your browser transmits technically necessary data to the server, which are stored there in log files: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the amount of data transferred, the previously visited page, and browser and operating system. We need these data to deliver the website, fix faults and fend off attacks. We do not combine them with other data and do not evaluate them for advertising purposes. The logs are deleted automatically by the provider after a short time.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies and storage in your browser
We do not set cookies. On the subpages your browser merely remembers whether you have closed the panda's tip at the bottom right, so that it does not pop up again on every page. This information stays in your browser (session storage), is not transmitted to us and disappears as soon as you close the browser window. It is necessary for the function you requested (Section 165(3) TKG 2021).
Enquiry forms (courses, private lessons, apartment)
If you contact us using one of the enquiry forms on our website, we process the information you enter there, for example your name, email address, phone number, preferred dates, number and age of participants, number of adults and children, and your message.
Purpose and legal basis: We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry, send you a quote and prepare a booking. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures taken at your request).
Process: Your enquiry is sent by email to brunner@skischule-bkk.com. In addition, you will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your details at the address you provided, sent from anfrage@skischule-bkk.com. The website and email delivery are provided by our hosting provider ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany.
Protection against misuse (spam): To block automated spam enquiries, we use a form field that is invisible to humans, check a minimum time between opening and submitting the form, and limit the number of enquiries to 5 per hour per sender. For this purpose we do not store your IP address itself, only a hash value derived from it, together with the times of the most recent enquiries. These entries are deleted after 24 hours at the latest. No cookies are set and no third-party services are used for this. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website, free from misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Storage period: We use your enquiry solely to process it and to prepare a quote, and delete it afterwards. If a booking is made, we keep the data for as long as statutory retention obligations require (in particular under tax law, generally 7 years).
Mandatory information: We cannot respond to your enquiry without your name and email address. Any further information is voluntary but helps us to make you a suitable offer.
Webcam image
On our website we show a live image from a webcam in Bad Kleinkirchheim. The image is only loaded when the webcam section is displayed on the page, and it is loaded directly from the server of the provider foto-webcam.eu (operators according to the legal notice: Ing. Gerhard Keuschnig, Stranach 9, 9842 Mörtschach, Austria, and Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Florian Radlherr, Milchstraße 12, 82256 Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany).
When the image is loaded, your IP address is necessarily transmitted to this server for technical reasons, together with information about your browser and the referring page. We have no influence on any further processing by the provider; information on this can be found in the privacy information of foto-webcam.eu at https://www.foto-webcam.eu/impressum/. We ourselves do not store any data in this process.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing guests current snow and weather conditions (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). No cookies are set by us in this process.
3D virtual tour of the apartment
We offer a virtual 3D tour of the “Kaiserburg” apartment. It is provided by the Vivis3D service (operated by CS4Web KG, Lederergasse 29, 9500 Villach, Austria) and loaded from tour.vivis3d.at.
The tour is only loaded when you start it with a click. Before that, no connection to Vivis3D is established. After you click, your IP address and technical information about your browser are transmitted to Vivis3D; the provider may also use its own cookies or similar technologies. Information on this can be found in Vivis3D's privacy policy.
The legal basis is your consent, given by starting the tour (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021)). You can withdraw your consent at any time by no longer starting the tour or by reloading the page.
Contact by email or phone
If you call us or write an email, we use your details to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where an offer or a booking is concerned, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Links to other websites
Our pages contain links, for example to Facebook, Google Maps (route planning), foto-webcam.eu and our partners. These are simple links: data are only transmitted when you click a link and open the other website. The respective operators are responsible for its content and data processing.
Encryption
The website is transmitted in encrypted form (https). You can recognise this by the lock symbol in your browser's address bar.
Your rights
You have the right to information about your data stored by us, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interest. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. To do so, write to brunner@skischule-bkk.com.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
Version and changes
As of October 2026. If the website or the legal situation changes, we will adapt this policy.
